1. Licensing For Clients

1.1. Account Management

1.1.1. Register as Investor

As an investor willing to open an educational institution in Abu Dhabi, whether it is a school(K12) or nursery(ECE) you need to register for an account on ADEK to be able to start and run this institution. 


How to create an ADEK account? 

 

You need a valid Emirate ID and Trade license that allows open & run educational institutions. 

 

Steps 

 

  1. Navigate to ADEK investor portal
  2. Click “REGISTER”  
  3. Enter your Emirates ID & date of birth then click “Verify” 
  4. The system will validate your Emirates ID and will get your first & last name  
  5. Enter the other required information which are: Email, Mobile & password  
  6. Specify the Role you are registering with as “Owner” 
  7. Specify the “Investor Type” whether you are an “Individual” or “Business,” if you are a Business you need to provide the “Trade License Number”  accordingly 
  8. Click “Register”  
  9. An activation email will be sent to your registered email address, open it to activate your account

1.1.2. Register as Representative

What do I need to register as business representative?

 

A valid Emirates ID and more details about investor (person/business) you are registering on behalf of. 

If you are authorized to apply on behalf of another person or business, then to register on ADEK you need to create an account as a representative.  

 

 

Steps

 

  1. Navigate to ADEK investor portal link
  2. Click “REGISTER”  
  3. Enter your Emirates ID & date of birth then click “Verify” 
  4. The system will validate your Emirates ID and will get your first & last name  
  5. Enter the other required information which are: Email, Mobile & account password  
  6. Specify the Role you are registering with as “Representative” 
  7. Provide the Owner Emirates ID, mobile & email  for the organization/individual you are registering for  
  8. Specify the “Investor Type” whether you are an “Individual” or “Business,” if you are a Business you need to provide the “Trade License Number”  
  9. Click “Register”  
  10. An activation email will be sent to your registered email address, open it to activate your account

1.1.3. Restore Password

If you forget your account password, you can restore it using below steps: 

 

Steps 

  1. Navigate to %ADEK investor portal link% 
  2. On the main login page click “Forget your password?” 
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account and click “Submit”  
  4. A link will be sent via email to your registered email address, use the link to reset your account password

1.1.4. Unlock Account

You will get locked after 5 failed attempts to login, your account will be unlocked after 5 minutes.

1.2. Profile Management

1.2.1. Personal Information

To apply for any service on ADEK licensing you need to build a profile first since the profile information will be required on different stages of the application.

You can change the owner's name after you issue your first PLL license and its being approved through Coordinator. Navigate to Coordinator documentation to learn more about this.

1.2.2. Documents Management

To Apply for any service on ADEK licensing you need to attach the required documents. You can also delete documents and upload another one or download it anytime needed.

1.2.2.1. Upload New Document

You need all the requested documents to be able to apply for any license on ADEK licensing system, You can do that easily following below steps:

  1. Login to your ADEK account  
  2. Navigate to “MY DOCUMENTS” tab  
  3. The list of required documents will show, navigate to the document you want to upload & click on it
  4. Browse the files on your device to select the document & click “Upload
