1.3.1.1.1. New Private Nursery

If you are trying to open a private nursery(ECE) at Abu Dhabi then the first step is to issue an initial license. 

Issuing a license for nurseries goes through an application and this application go through different stages until the license is issued.


Request to Issue a New Private Nursery(ECE) License

 

Steps

 

Login to your account.
Navigate to “Services” tab  on the top of homepage screen.
Choose from services list “Request to Issue a New Private Nursery(ECE) License”.
Enter the proposed name for the nursery in “PROPOSED SCHOOL DETAILS” section.
Next you need to book an investor consultation through “INVESTOR CONSULTATION BOOKING” don’t know what the investor consultation is? Check here.
Click “Submit” to send the application, meanwhile you can complete working on filling “ACADEMIC PLAN QUALIFICATION” section.
“ACADEMIC PLAN QUALIFICATION” consists of the main seven steps each step requires you to provide specific information about your proposed nursery. You can move between sections by clicking “Proceed” button.
Then move to fill the “ACADEMIC PLAN DOCUMENTS”, Trade License info and finally Land Selection.
Click submit.
You can track the application after its being submitted under the “MY APPLICATION” tab.

1.3.1.2. Licenses Issuing For Schools

Request to Issue Initial Approval for Private School

PLL stands for “Request to Issue Initial Approval for Private School (K12)” and it’s the first license you need to issue over ADEK if you are willing to open a private school(K12).

 

What do you need to apply for a PLL?

 

  1. Active account on ADEK: Don't have an account yet? Click here 
  2. Suggested school name 
  3. Trade License that involves activities related to open a school 
  4. Land/Building  
  5. Academic Plan
  6. Financial Plan
  7. Documents & Contact Details
  8. Licensing Fees: To be paid online

PLL license goes into stages of approvals, i.e you provide information of the proposed school name then the application goes to ADEK side to be approved then you can proceed with the next step and so on.

 

Steps

  1. Login to your account.
  2. Navigate to “Services” tab  on the top of homepage screen.
  3. Choose from services list “Request to Issue Initial Approval for Private School (PLL)”.
  4. The application will open and you start by adding the school contact details and trade license information.
  5. Then you will need to provide proposed school names.
  6. Click “Submit” to send the application to ADEK and the verification starts. A new tab “MY APPLICATION” will be activated and your application will show there so you can track changes on it, Check %Application Tracking & Management% to know more about this. 
  7. To proceed further with application you need to navigate to “MY APPLICATION” and click “Edit”, you will further need to provide the land details you are intending to open the school on.
  8. On “Academic Plan and Qualification” you need to provide the proposed academic plan for your school and qualification you have, the system has points system that will count these points and will use them in evaluating your application.
  9. If your “Academic Plan and Qualification” has been approved the next step will be to provide “Financial Plan Qualification” which is needed to clarify your financial planning and its compatibility with your proposed academic plan.
  10. If all approved you need to provide all the documents that support your application.
  11. The last step will be paying the license fees.

Your application is all set now and you can track it through the “MY APPLICATION” tab. Once approved you can move to the next step which is to issue a Temporary License through the “MY ASSETS” tab.
